Hello everyone! Just a small, but nice update today! I used some of my B-Day money to buy myself some nice cards for my sets!
I don’t purchase new Gold Star, Shining or Crystal cards very often, about one every few months. It’s tricky to find them ungraded and in NM condition.
But, since it was my B-Day month, I decided to treat myself. Was able to find a new GS, Shining, AND Crystal card to add to my collection! All NM condition as well!
So, here they are!
Right now I’m sitting at 5/10 of the Shining Pokemon (excluding Mew and Imakuni), 7/9 of the Crystal Pokemon (Missing Celebi and Charizard), and 14/27 Gold Stars. So, progress, even if its slow, is being made!

Hey everyone! Pokesoap here again with some pretty cool updates! I apologize for my updates being so few and far between! I’m waiting on quite a few orders right now, and my school life has been pretty darn busy. Still, I’ve kept up my collecting, and have completed another set!
E4, I present to you, another complete set! Unlimited Neo Genesis! Happy to finally have this set complete! And sorry, I’m going to make you look at it. No album links for you. I’m really happy I finally finished this one off. It’s been sitting near completion in my binder for ages.
So without further ado, Neo Genesis! Cards range from LP+ to NM +! Anything you see that might be “damage” is just lighting and page protectors that need to be updated.

Got a PSA 9 M Pidgeot EX FA from Evolutions in the mail! Was really happy to have snagged this guy! One of my favorite FAs from the XY sets. Happy to have it slabbed. I’ve def been bitten by the psa bug. I want more 9s… and when I’m more established in life, possibly some 10s?
So last post I discussed how I rarely add a new GS, Shining, or Crystal to my collection, right? Welp, somehow I ended up with a new GS! Say hello to my Celebi Gold Star! Snagged this card for $30 on Instagram.
And last but not least, I felt the need to add another Skyridge holo to my collection. I ended up choosing this beautiful holo Kabutops! This card looks freaking AMAZING. I’m so happy to have it in my collection! My first pack of cards was an E-Series Expedition pack (pulled a non-holo Meganium), so E-Series cards are near and dear to my heart

Congrats Madison! I remember collecting the entire pokemon english set from Base to the end of BW (I stopped at XY). It’s a really big accomplishment! The Unown subset will be the hardest to find in Mint condition because not everyone sold it as a set like I did.

I’m going to make a post about the Unowns I need in a couple of weeks on E4. I’m at 50% with the set. They’re hard to track down in good shape! Troll and Toad has a lot listed as NM, but I don’t really trust their definition of NM, especially for older cards.
This is really cool to see. I am also trying to collect sets I don’t have; I’m starting from Neo Discovery onwards. I’ve just laid down some big cash to get 7 of the Shining cards from Neo Destiny (already had the Noctowl), but still have a long way to go on the gold stars, as I only have the ones from Power Keepers I collected when the set was fresh.
Do you collect the reverses in the EX sets where they are stamped and holo?

Nice! That’s a huge accomplishment! Neo Destiny is pretty far down my set completion list, I’ll get to it one day! GS have recently picked up in price, and have become pretty tricky to find in true NM condition.
Not currently, but I plan to after I complete the regular print/unlimited sets. I’ve started setting up my reverse holo sets in my binders, but I still have a lot to organize (my project for the summer!)

I’m nearing completion of my WotC sets as well, I’m very much looking forward to shifting focus to the ex lines!
Don’t worry, all holos are sleeved! That’s what the wrinkle on the holo pages is. All holos are in penny sleeves currently, and URs are in ultra pro/dragonshield/pre release/ and other more heavy duty sleeves. I’d like for all of the holos to be in Ultra Pros, but penny sleeves are a lot more cost effective for me currently. And yes, I do need to upgrade my pages. All of these were bought out of convince, as these are the ones often sold at Targets/Walmarts. I’m planning on upgrading later next month to some better stuff.

Holy wow. Do you collect Blaziken?
Their NM is a hit or miss. 30% of my purchase from them were actually NM+
Well done completing best set in the whole hobby, artwork like that never gets boring.

Heck yeah I collect Blazikens! Collecting them has been on the back-burner lately. I’ve been focused on set stuff lately, but I’m always interested in unique + hard to find Blaziken product and cards.
It’s a pretty great set, that’s for sure! Some of my favorite cards (artwork wise) in the set are Lugia (9/111), Feraligatr (5/111), Cleffa (20/111), Murkrow (24/111), Gloom (36/111), Magmar (40/111), Togepi (51/111), Onix (69/111), Slowpoke (73/111), and Wooper (82/111). Such good uncommon/common cards in this set!
Hello everyone! Pokesoap here again with some new complete sets! Today I’m going to share my complete EX Crystal Guardians as well as my complete MAIN SET EX Unseen Forces! Why main set specifically? My Unown set is sitting at 50% right now. So, I’m calling my EX Unseen Forces 50% complete until I track down the remaining Unowns.
And sorry, no album links, only photos. I’m really proud of these sets, and really want to show them off! Everything ranges from LP+ to NM+! There are a few cards I might replace later once I finish every English set. The cards aren’t in bad enough shape to warrant an immediate replacement. Just some whitening issues I’m not too fond of. The majority of the cards fall into the NM category
I really wish I could get better photos. The lighting in my college dorm is absolutely dismal. I’ll try and get scans later next month and replace my photos.
And yes, I’ll be replacing my pages and moving cards into new binders next month.

Thank you! One of my favorites as well! The EX cards in this set are all so incredible! My personal favorite set is EX Dragon, which I’ll be finishing off very soon!
Awesome sets! So many beautiful artworks. I personally have never opened Unseen Forced booster packs, so I haven’t even seen the majority of these artworks before. Some are truly stunning.
Since we’re talking about favorite sets. Mine are EX Legend Maker, Gym Challenge and Gym Heroes.
