Hello everyone! Thought I’d update this thread with more binder pics, 'cause why not? Decided to finish off posting my wizards of the coast stuff today.

OK, so this set should be very close to 100%, I opened a booster box of Neo Genesis back when you could get the boxes for $200 dollars. (Oh, how times have changed) So, I know I have the trainers to fill those blank spots. The question is, where the heck are they??? I know they’re back in my house in Michigan, but even after digging through my bulk this summer I didn’t find the stash. Might just have to bite the bullet and buy them again.

Also a small note: Why are the photos so bad/dark? Well, my college thinks it’s a good idea to have no lights in our dorms. Amazing. So, my side of the room is lit by a crappy lamp from the 1960s. I could scan in the cards, but I don’t like having to bring my binders onto main campus. Why are the photos on my Instagram such higher quality/much brighter? All of those photos are taken in my dorm bathroom. Why don’t I wanna bring the binders in my dorm bathroom? Would you wanna bring your binders in your bathroom? No? I thought so.

A small update! A nice mail day today! Got some miscellaneous cards I needed for my sets today! When all the cards come in from TCG Player, I’ll have Dragon Frontiers, Emerging Powers, and Phantom Forces knocked off my list!

Promo Maril, Zebsrika, and Pyroar break were all extras I needed to meet the $1 requirement on TCG Player. Was sad that the POP 9 Rotom was the shatterfoil promo. Just went to eBay and picked out a non-holo Rotom. Once that card gets here, I’ll complete my first POP set! Very exciting!

Hello everyone! I have another super cool lot of uncommon and common cards to share with you today! Major thanks to @scratchdesk for the Wizards of the Coast cards! They all look fantastic! Really happy to have all these cards added to my sets!

I believe with this post, I’ve officially completed Emerging Powers and Phantom Forces! Woot woot! Still waiting on one cards from Dragon Frontiers (Boost Energy, I believe!) That should be in either tomorrow or Thursday. I’m super excited to share my soon to be complete Dragon Frontiers set with you all. It’s one I’ve been piecing together for awhile. Excited to finally see it come together!

So without further ado, here are the cards I received today!

Tornadus was another meet the $1 requirement add on. Beautiful holo! Really glad I picked it up. I’m also a big fan of the delta species Dragonair. Such pretty art!

We’ve got a pretty awesome update today Pokefans!

These cards arrived in the mail today:

You’re probably thinking, there’s nothing super stand out about these cards? One is even off center! Pftt Pokesoap, what are ya doin’? Welll… These cards (specifically the Emboar and the Boost Energy, Smeargle is just cool) are the last cards I needed to complete EX Dragon Frontiers and BW Base Set!!! Woot Woot!!! Also, with the post I made a few days ago, I’ve officially completed Emerging Powers and Phantom Forces!

Super happy that I completed EX Dragon Frontiers. As one of my favorite EX series sets, and one I’ve been piecing together for a very long time, it’s awesome to see the set finally come together!

Another quick update today!

Got these awesome cards in the mail today:

Ordered Espeon from a seller on Instagram, and she threw in the Base Set 2 cards as extras! So nice!

After receiving the Espeon, I can finally take this photo:

Woot woot! All Unseen Forces Ultra Rares!!! FINALLY. Just need three holos for the main Unseen Forces set! Unown set is at about 50% right now. I’ll grab those after I finish off the main set!

Also, the Rotom was the last cards I needed to complete POP 9! First complete POP set! Woot woot! And here it is! (All non-holo, like it should be!)

Hey E4! Sorry for not posting in awhile, life has been pretty crazy on my end! Been really busy in college putting together a major project. Lots of fun, but very very stressful.

But hey, stress doesn’t stop me from collecting cards! (It actually helps me relieve stress, ha ha!) This is kind of a random update today. Nothing set completing, but some pieces I’m very happy about.

Also, you’ll notice a weird quality jump in the photos I’m posting. Got a new phone, so better photos!!! Woot woot! Really excited about that! Also, because why not add in a shamless plug, all of these photos are taken from my Instragram, which you should totally check out! I try and post a card from my collection every day!

Let’s start with this beautiful pair! Leafeon Lv.X and Glaceon Lv.X got these for a great deal on Virbank Pokemart. Was very happy to add these to my collection. A very big step towards the completion of Majestic Dawn. I’d put these cards at LP+/NM- due to some scratching and whitening, but they’re perfect cards to me! I don’t plan on grading anything from my collection. I’m hoping to own some nicer graded cards when I have more money later in life (I like to collect PSA 9s) but for now, anything ranging from LP+ to NM + is great!

Seller also threw in a SR Zapdos EX for FREE. Really really cool dude! Def. NM as well. Still has the feel/gloss the SR ex cards have from the EX Series! Awesome!

Speaking of old EX cards, I also picked up this beautiful Flygon on Ebay a few days ago for a steal! Beautiful shape! Only need to snag Arcanine now for this set.

Got these two today! Non-holo Yanmega was an impulse Ebay purchase. I guess POP 8 is the next POP set I’m going to complete??? Ha ha!

Also snagged a holo Leafeon off of Virbank! Nice!

Now, getting into some more current stuff, some of my recent Sun and Moon additions! This set is a MONSTER. I probably will not be completing it until later. I’d rather spend my money on sets I’m closer to completing than drop a ton of cash on Sun + Moon right now.

So yeah. Lunala was a trade, Lapras and Umbreon were pulls from a Booster Box I got for my B-day!

Very happy with my new cards, and excited to add more very soon! Got a TCG player gift card from my uncle that I’ll be using to complete some sets! Right now I’m eyeing Majestic Dawn, Legends Awakened, Neo Genesis, and Unseen Forces (Main set, not the unowns) Maybe EX Ruby and Sapphire if I have leftover funds!

Hey E4! I have some more cards to share today! Since It’s my Birthday today, I’m going to post something completely self indulgent and not set related. Gasp!

But first, I want to give a big shoutout to @smpratte for the amazing giveaway prize! Arrived today! (perfect, huh?)

Roaring Skies is my favorite XY set, so I’m ecstatic to own a box of it! I’m planning on keeping it sealed for now. Is this the start of a sealed collection??? Maybe? I mean, why not add some more crazy goals to my already crazy collecting goals list!

But anyways, I’m super grateful to have this amazing piece in my Pokemon TCG collection!

Anyways, onto the self indulgent stuff. Today I wanted to share my Blaziken collection! In addition to completing sets, I also like to collect multiple prints/variations of Pokemon/Specific Cards I really like! Blaziken is my favorite Pokemon, so I’ve been slowly piecing together a collection of Blaziken cards. Keep in mind the cards I’m about to share are all duplicates and not taken from my set binders. What goes in the set binders stays in the set binders. So, without further ado, enjoy some fire chickens!

PS, if you have any Blaziken singles you wouldn’t mind letting go in NM condition, hit me up! Mainly looking for English and Japanese prints, but also open to other languages!

Thank you so much! I’m still in shock! I feel like a tease for not opening the giveaway box, as some members probably want to know what’s in it, but it’s more meaningful to me sealed.

Ha ha! Thanks! Same here! Collectors going after unique Pokemon is what inspired me to have a binder full of Blazikens. Really like seeing what everyone’s favorite Pokemon is, and how they appreciate that Pokemon through card form.

I’d like to have more language variants one day, but for now I’m going for volume, as having multiples of a card is pretty fun.
