@stibs, I just found these and listened through the first one and this is some fantastic quality content here. I love hearing peoples collecting stories and the history behind why collectors are in the hobby and what got them to where they are today. Its so humbling and telling and truly aids to bring the community here together in such an emotional and beautiful way, and this little podcast really helps to shed light on lots of great things. Cant wait to get into some more and hell, id be willing to even do one myself one day if you wanted! (even though im new back into the game here, i have a bit of a unique story id love to tell granted if i could break my shyness barrier haha). Regardless, thanks for putting in the work for these and im happy to now know you more in the community.

Thank you for the feedback. I haven’t posted them all on this thread but they are still coming up weekly. I apologize about the audio. It is difficult to control, as each individual guest has a different set up with their microphone/audio. I will be hitting a few of those topics in the coming podcasts. Keep an eye out and hopefully I will be able to upgrade the set up one day for my guests!

Receiving good feedback, so I will continue to post these in this thread if its alright with the rules/mods. Let me know if you want me to go another route @smpratte (feel free to PM me if this is an issue). Thanks.

@stibs I’ve been following along with these, and you are doing a heck of a job. Keep it up, my friend.

I stan

Only thing I’d change is the overall volume if you can. I listen with headphones and I have to listen on max volume to understand everything being said. (I’m on episode 3 btw so if this changes later ignore it)

It was a great episode. I recently started buying psa 1st 9 holo 's due to many cards leaving my price range in the 10. I got to say I wish i started buying 9’s a couple years ago, but at about the 50 dollars for 9’s its still great value.

Hopefully you’ve accumulated a fair amount of 10s while they were in your price range

Yea I’m pretty happy with the ones I got, obviously I wish I got more, but thats life.

Another really interesting podcast! I loved the alarm going off in the background, don’t know why it just cracked me up :joy:

Yea I agree with everything everyone has said on here so far. Been listening to these podcasts on utube every week. Very informative and interesting on how some of the biggest names in the hobby got interested in collecting/investing.

Keep it up @stibs, this series is epic!

Finally caught up on all the shows and made it to season 2! @fourthstartcg QueensU is awesome.

Noticed that there hasn’t been a new show in the past few weeks… I hope to hear another one soon as they’re really enjoyable on my long road trips.

By the way, just a suggestion but when something happens on stream that is otherwise unapparent to those exclusively listening through audio, it would be nice if you could quickly describe what’s happening in words. For example, when you’re watching an old IG/YT video you might say something along the lines of, “this old video is hilarious!”

To your stream viewers, they’d totally get what you’re talking about, but to us poor podcast listeners we don’t really have any context since we can’t see the video so we have to piece together what’s happening. In traditional simulcasts, the host usually describes what they’re doing/seeing in a sentence or two for radio listeners (e.g. “For the radio listeners, host #2 just made a funny face which is why we’re laughing”). Would be nice – that’s all!
