I managed to get two journals that showed as in stock in my cart, then out of stock on the payment page. But the order did go through.
Have a payment confirmation but no Pokémon Center confirmation and it’s not in my order history…Fingers crossed.
Site seems broken for me at the place order part, but now everything shows sold out in usa

I was watching for the drop in the UK on a discord and it seems things went available through the background links at around 4.20pm and by the time 5pm came around for the official release it was mostly sold out.
A lot of poor souls clinging to the hope that nothing has gone live yet so they can get something but I think it looks like the site was gutted before the main page updated.

Idk why pokemon doesnt just open up like japan and hzve all the items made to order snd give you a week to pre order it.

Probably because it drives demand. That and for some reason the Pokémon company likes low effort when it comes to investing in technology/infrastructure (the video games, the website, pop up shops etc).

But why nother doing it for japan at all then ? Just let it all be free for all every time same with the lottery drops when it would sell the same without lotterys.
If they accepted made to order they should get more overall sales as anyone could buy as much as they want in the quanitys they want them in. All without disapoiting and in extreme cases pissing off there customer base with every new hyped release.

Do you think TPCi can just produce an endless supply of every single product? If they did this, then they would just end up canceling and refunding 75% of orders because they can’t produce them.
So… For the first time in Pokémon history the European main land gets an exclusive item and TCPi completely forks up demand and expectations and manages to offload all promo cards within 5 days. Great. But… this saves me a trip to the capital.
