Definitely need that box. Amazing artwork on that Charizard *-* I just hope my trusted Finnish card game online store is going to have all these Generations stuff because they donāt always have all the Promo boxes or blisters there are available.
Btw, does anybody know why the US and European boxes differ sometimes? Why do we get a jumbo card here and the US gets figurines? I never managed to figure out the reason. It has confused me since the Mega Charizard X & Y boxes came out as I didnāt find the figurine version from any European seller. Meanwhile a Mega Rayquaza EX box with a figurine was sold in here. I donāt get itā¦
I recall reading that it was an issue with laws regarding toy safety that barred the TCG boxes with figurines from being released in Europe as they are in the US. Itās kind of ironic since chocolate Kinder eggs are banned in the US for similar safety reasons but European countries donāt seem to have a problem with that. Doesnāt really add up to me.
I couldnāt find an official source, but if you look at the product pages on Bulbapedia (search for āsafetyā), it has the safety concern thing listed for every figure box and a mention that the boxes with jumbo cards were made as replacements for the European market instead.
I donāt like when people call Non-Embossed cards Full-Arts. Really, hope these are embossed. Because based off of the pictures they seem to be regular holo cards with artwork that takes over the entire cardā¦
Why does a Full Art card have to be Embossed for it to be a Full Art card? Not having a go, genuinely curious as to why this is the qualifier for something being called Full Art?
It depends on if the art is over the whole card, thatās it, like if itās a full card art itās known as a full art. The term for the cards you are looking for are sr/ur I would say.
If anyone is looking for a decent deal on getting these mailed to them, Squeakās Game World has them for $9.50 + Shipping if youāll take it unboxed. Which is rad, in my opinion.
