The next Japanese set is going to feature VMAX Duraludon and Rayquaza (alt art Rayquaza incoming!!) but they better put the Galar Regis in that set too. It would be interesting if their alternate arts feature the other Regis!
Glad I wasnât the only one, rofl. I was scrolling through this thread and had to do a double-take on that Rapidash artwork. I was about to make a similar comment when I saw yours.

Good chance we could get a Shiny Charizard (Vivid Voltage one) if they continue this theme of giving gold shiny cards to playable Pokemon with strong abilities. Eight of these have also been prerelease promos, same as Charizard!!

The Blissey Alt Art is incredible. Itâs the only Alt Art to feature Pokemon in the background art not included in the main set like the other alt arts. Looks like the artist realized Indeedee is an awful Chansey wannabe and redeemed themselves. Furthermore, the slippers and family pictures on the wall are excellent evidence of the Chansey familyâs extraordinary intelligence, as this home clearly belongs to Blissey and not a trainer.

Definitely - combining all three Japanese sets means there will be around 190+ cards, probably around 60-70 secret rares total.
Easily biggest Sword & Shield set!

Does anyone know if the prices tend to come down a bit after the initial listings for the shiny gold cards? Gotta know if I need to jump on them now or wait haha

Modern Japanese almost always seems to go down after the initial interest cools off. I was seeing the Shiny Star V Charizards for like 15,000 and 35,000 respectively for a while there, and now theyâre back down. The Galarian birds have also dropped significantly since release. There are just a lot of cards on the market one month after release or so. Its not like these set cards are that desirable at the end of the day when thousands of boxes are still out there.

I havenât been genuinely interested in modern until lately â up until now itâs been a ton of cg charizard hype. (which, I get - just not my thing)
Hidden fates was super fun. But again, it was all about the charizard variant.
This set however is just all around bonkers on the art.
