The Pokemon Price website has been added as a Button on the menu bar! Pokemon Price currently has sales data for most of the popular english graded cards in the hobby. The site will eventually include graded Japanese promos and Sealed product. This is a massive resource that is currently unparalleled. The site includes sales, charts and data which go beyond the ebay completed listings cycle.

So I am a little confused on the prices. Example, 1st edition holos for really any set and the prices. Are those prices based on all the holos together, the median, or I feel stupid like im missing something here lol. The reason why I ask this and this probably might just be a separate thread, but for 1st edition team rocket holos median PSA 9 says about $600+, off of what? Please shed some light. I am glad that this was finally incorporated.

I did a fairly big update and fulfilled some requests yesterday, which I will go into more detail on sometime today in the PokemonPrice thread. Cheers!
It takes the median sale price of every card for every month. If there are no sales, it takes the previous month. If there are no recorded sales at all, it leaves it out of the calculation.
Thanks @pkmnflyingmaster for the explanation The plot points have a mouseover (or tap if you’re on mobile) tooltip that will tell you which cards were left out of the total, if any. A lot of the early 2016 plot points will be missing card because the data collection only started then and it took a few months for all cards to be represented on eBay, the past 6 months and onwards should be quite accurate though.
I guess this is the perfect topic to say thanks for creating this beauty of a website, Pierce! I love browsing through statistics and I love collecting Pokémon and this combines the two. Awesome idea to give it a button in the menu bar, smpratte. It can’t be stated enough how good a resource it is and having it up there could definitely draw more people to the site.
@pierce you are a LEGEND! The new analytics page with ability to look up complete holo sets in PSA 9/ PSA 10 is AMAZING. I do that calculation manually fairly often as I sell a lot of those sets in PSA 9. This is going to save me so much time. It is so awesome to see those time plots.
Next time I have a card you need listed give me a message. I’ll have to give you a smoking deal.
