Pokemon HOME - Shiny Gifts

Shiny Manaphy and Shiny Enamorus !!

In Pokemon Home if you complete the Sinnoh Pokedex for BDSP you get a Shiny Manaphy! And if you complete the Hisui Pokedex for Legends Arceus you get a Shiny Enamorus!

Pretty wild rewards this time, if you’re a shiny hunter you’ll know how just how huge a deal Shiny Manaphy is.

enjoy

This follows on from the shiny meloetta gift last fall! The manaphy has been a particular thorn in shiny collectors’ sides

Is it saying you have to complete the dex in the bdsp and legends games? Or is having all the pokemon registered in the HOME Pokédex enough?

I believe you have to have each Pokémon from the dex in Home and they must originate from the specific game.

For example, a Mamoswine caught in SwSh wouldn’t count. It would have to be caught in BDSP and another for Legends Arceus.

The gift for completing the home Pokédex has already been given (Poké ball magearna). For these gifts, you have to complete the dex in each game specifically.

Some clarifications: if you catch a Pokémon in BDSP and move it over to PLA, that’s still a bdsp mon. For example you need to catch a separate piplup in bdsp AND in PLA for both to count.

However you CAN move mons over to games to make evolution easier. EG haunter evolves by trading in bdsp, but you can take a bdsp haunter, move it to PLA, use a link cable item on it (which is obtainable with quest points in PLA) then move it back to home and it will register a bdsp gengar

Probably the most annoying, you need to have a unique instance of each character at home. For example, if you take that piplup and evolve it in game before moving into home, you need to breed and get another piplup to move into home.

Thank you all. I guess since I completed the dex in PLA in game I should be good, unless I need a living dex in the game but it doesn’t seem like that’s the verbiage. BDSP seems to be significantly harder with version exclusives

Whoah this is awesome. Thank you for sharing.

I’ve been casually trying to get the meloetta for some time now, but now I guess I have to get my butt in gear to get all 3 of these for my HOME shiny living dex🤣

Its a great excuse to go back and play those games. Although I still need to finish my Scarlet/Violet dex and get the shiny Meloetta…

Thankfully ScVi is fairly enjoyable to go back to

Just to clarify again, you may be missing the basic stage of evolution lines if you evolved them prior to moving them into home. It’ll show for example you having registered empoleon but not piplup

i’m not too far from completing the hisui dex in home (definitely had them all at one point), but sinnoh dex is more work than i’m going to do :smile_with_tear:

Yeah it is a bit of work and most easily done as said above. You basically need to move an entire living Dex over from the game to Home which were all caught in that specific game and have the crown at the Dex like my Home has.

With the new game coming out as always my plan is catch a Pokemon > put into Home > back onto game > evolve > back on to Home > back onto game etc.
