People like you make me sick! Over charging…geeez…youll be left with cardboard worth nothing!!! she is right…if you wont sell her cardboard for 5k…cardboard that is basically worthless…then for shame…forrrrr shame!!!
60K for a kanga…30k for a charizard…wth!!!
Just realized with the name “fineartcollectors”, it seems quite a surprise for them to be so rude to a seller. I wonder if they also wrote an emotional comment to the recently sold davinci painting
I kinda just recently had a similar instance with someone on eBay. I’m selling a sports card that is a 10/10 (there are only 10 of them) for $45. A guy messaged me with “What do you actually want for the card” and I said Well $45 lol, but the lowest I will go is $30 (Also I saw the ad had an offer and it was from him $7 which got auto-declined). He then replied back with a picture of recently sold and was showing me that the same player’s cards that were numbered out of 5 have sold for around $7 and said that my card will never sell. It makes sense to me that since the cards out of 5 are rarer sold for that price then my card out of 10 should be cheaper but as of typing this my card is the only numbered out of 10 card for sale on eBay and there hasn’t been another one sold so for now it’s the only option.
I’m not in a rush to sell it at all so to me if someone really wants that card for their collection or whatever then they will pay the $45 (I’ve lowered it to $30 buy it now or offer) or they will wait till another one is listed which hasn’t happened.
Everybody go to ebay and type in ‚pokemon trophy‘… it‘s hilarious
Is even any of the sellers looking to sell? Or just trying to attract people to their other listings? Or just trying to show off? Or waiting for some stupid person to hit BIN?
I just can‘t take ebay sellers seriously anymore…
If you list a card for $60k without best offer option it‘s 100% clear you‘re not looking to sell… I mean no offense to anybody but how it makes the market a bit blurry with so many ridiculous listings on ebay.
That‘s why I love PWCC auctions because it really shows the value and the market.
I‘m trying to understand the purpose of the listing. Do you want to sell? Or should collectors not even bother unless they want to pay $60k?
Ebay has become kind of confusing for collectors.
It’s not hard to understand at all. People put cards up for an extreme price which brings traffic towards their other listings, and if by some stroke of luck someone decides to pay that amount then you just made a lot of money.
I’m going to take the stance that I’m looking to sell. I’ve listed it up for the price I feel it’s worth; $60k. I think it’s safe to assume you disagree.
Now the question is, why do you get to decide what I try and sell my cards for? What authority do you have to determine what someone should or shouldn’t be able to ask for? Why is your opinion more valuable than mine?
Personally, I like to use the market as the ultimate authority. Which means if nobody buys, it doesn’t sell. If I’m not willing to let it go for cheaper and the market doesn’t change, it’ll remain unsold. If it does sell the market has spoken.
