For me one of the biggest Pokémon cringes are still Gen 4´s evolutions of pokémon like Rhydon, Magmar and Elektabuzz. All perfect designs that have been degraded to middle evolutions.
I mean, obviously you can still like Rhydon, but it kind of takes away from it´s gen 1 awesomeness that it´s now not a fully evolved pokémon.

I (happily) missed out on all the new controversies but, wow, that watercolor is beautiful. Was Himeno happy to see everyone/comment on that nice E4 post you made her?
Yeah, she said she cried when she was reading it and teared up again in person the few times it was brought up. She is so sweet and I think it really did mean a lot to her.

Replacing “ks” with “x” and the .io certainly doesn’t help on the cringe-o-meter reading. Not that these could be less cringe even if they tried.
