I think it’s because even though it’s a Christmas item it’s really supposed to be purchased and gifted to someone weeks ahead of Christmas. A lot of holiday products in general get announced between June and August
This in general is cringe
No disagreeing lol
Seriously … Why would you put a Pokémon card in a bucket of cheese???
Video is NOT Mine. Was taken from “TattooedPokemon” Twitter Account.

These card cleaning methods are getting out of hand
In 50 years from now, this will be known as an “early 2020’s product.”
I would never understand why there’re people who cut boosters in half …
They must have 2 IQ …
(Video NOT mine btw)
its how you stand out in a sea of degens
remember the bleach drinkers/tide pod challenge? Same thing
Like the guy that cut a vivid voltage pack and subsequently rainbow pikachu in half. That was probably exactly what the guy was hoping for to try and make a popular clip and bring in more viewers.
its worse than that. This was a customer who paid to have someone else cut his pack that he already overpaid for. So he doesn’t even get the credit it goes to the streamer. And tbh I cant think of a better way to make a legitimate business (like hive has) look like a bunch of whatnot degen garbage. Lose Lose for everyone
Wish they’d just call it a day and drop the personalization and date requirement. Clearly it’s not preventing the cards from being sold which I think was the whole intention.
I don’t mind the personalization. I think it at least shows the nature of folks like this who are willing to destroy a card for weird reasons.
so true, if people are going to get around the rules why even try! should get rid of the card limit too
They should be required to etch signatures in
See them clean that off
Why isn’t this considered altering or worth MK qualifier or something similar? You kinda can’t tell it for sure with all the black charizards but it’s clear that these are not part of the original autograph.
It says it on the cert look up that it’s been altered.
