An often overlooked card, but I’m pretty sure the Dark dugtrio from the Team Rocket set is a clear reference to the house in Cerulean city, originally blocked because of Team Rocket “teaching Dig to a Pokemon” and wreaking havoc!
Might be one of the first cards in the main sets to refer to the games?

Theres 2 depictions of regigigigas on the english pokemon rumble box, but not one to be found INSIDE the box as a card
