, because I noticed that some Mew AA slabs/copies were numbered when sold (like #57 just above).
This reminds me I need to grade my Art Academies! Whenever that happens you can add a +1 to Xime and Lily-Chan

I found where I had seen that ‘info’ before :
So, counting the BGS #57 posted above, that would mean there are already at least 3 BGS (56, 57, 58), and they were probably graded at the same time.
Also, there’s this statement from a guy on Facebook saying that the artist supposedly mentioned having graded all 100 cards with Beckett :
Still, I’d be cautious with that info. I can’t vouch for that guy.
But I have to say, I’ve personally never seen any other serial-numbered copies of this card, only #56, #57, and #58.

This would be easy to check. Take the cert number and look them up sequentially at BGS. If they all come back Phanpy Mews, then you know that the folks spreading this information are telling the truth and that the pop report is incorrect.
I would be shocked if this was true, but stranger things have happened with limited releases.

I checked a few, and it turns out the two reported on BGS are these:

But on those certs, it says “This item is not currently listed in Beckett’s Population Report, but it has been reviewed by our grading team.”
Does that mean people resubmitted them to another grading company and told BGS to deactivate the certs?

It could mean that they chose not to grade them, I remember there was a moment where PSA wouldn’t touch AA due to some controversy

I feel you there. It looks like Mireil’s Kyogre is regularly going for 5 figures nowadays… 
I might have been able to afford one with 2019 prices if I had even known about it at the time, but it feels like getting one now is completely out of the question.
