So today i just randomly came across this E Card for Pokemon Ruby / Sapphire. It was a 2003 Event that i have just started looking into and thought it would be a cool thing to add to my colelction. So i was wondering if anyone on here had heard of it / had any knowledge on it?
Like is it a one time use or can i use it as many times as i want as long as i restart my game?
Looks like a cool thing to have as part of a collection for the Pokemon games as it’s like the only Event that you can physically have. Was wondering if anyone could give me some info on it! Would appreciate it.
So i am from the EU and i have read that they were given out over here also in a magazine or something liek that. I was wondering can they be used multiple times and whether they are rare or not, also what would you say they are worth. I am looking into buying one if they still work. As i love playing through RSE, and would love to do the events again, and this seems like the only event of it’s kind to be re playable legit.
So basically:
Can they work on any region cartridge?
Can they be used multiple times?
How rare are they?
You personal opinion on how much they are worth?
Can’t speak on all your points as I don’t have any knowledge about how they work or what format they work in.
I know when I sold mine they went over over $60 each still sealed and there was a premium paid for sealed ones. I’ve never actually scanned one though. I see a lot of them on ebay. Looks like they were also included in Nintendo Power #173. If I were you I’d hunt for that issue without mention of the eon card. I don’t know what the release was like overseas or if it was also included in the magazine over there so you’ll have to check that yourself.
The card itself can be used multiple times, but only once per save file on the game.
As for using it on different region carts, I think the US and JPN e-reader cards had different dot codes on them. So I’m not sure if they’d work on other region carts?
Yeah i am from the UK and i believe there were some released here. But they didn’t come with a magazine, etc. So currently looking into them. Thanks for the help though, much appreciated!
