PokeColor is Quickly Becoming the Largest Source for Pokemon Artist Signatures

There was something private that happened.

If Masago ever does a signing in the future, I’ll make sure to have someone help me. I’m dying to get a Masago Umbreon sketch.

Likely many more to come.

Are these the first sketches we’ve seen? What’s the tariff situation on this lol

Definitely the first shiny umbreon sketches. I would imagine that the tariff situation is brutal from China.

just my curious mind, but how much do the artist even get paid for those events? like if people need to pay 250 usd etc?

If this info is correct, then Masago is likely making a lot of money right now.

Whats been the consensus since the thread started, the more flooding the market through pokecolor, has the price come down on most? or is it generally the same. Havent been following much auctions so curious if now is the time to pick up a himeno/arita/masago.

I see some trickle in on fanatics too but most resales from ebay(same cert)

i must say, that would be crazy. like 180k ish. some mad money hahaha.

Likely no more public events in China for a while given they’re cancelling Japanese arts events.

Why is China cancelling japanese art events in general?

Don’t tell me it’s because of Sanae-san :skull:

It’s hasn’t anything to do with individuals, but a broader shift toward cultural self-reliance. It’s a complex situation for both sides, so it’s best to keep the hobby vibe ‘chilly’ and avoid the geopolitical rabbit hole!

I bought a himeno Birthday pikachu auto from pwcc yesterday for $1600ish. I figured i’d get at least one to start. I’ll wait bit more for a misago umbreon.

PokeColor continues to be a Pokemon auto/illustration farm. This is one week’s worth of autos/illustrations listed. In the past three months, they’ve sold over 400 autos/illustrations just on their eBay account alone.

Interesting how a few are located in Taiwan, bit of a tariff saving for international buyers.

It’s just speculation, but it might’ve been shipped by their business partner, OnePaper Institute. They’re a Taiwan-based company that’s got quite a bit of business in the TCG grading industry.

Ended relatively low, hopefully Pokecolor won’t maintain this crazy pricing

I bought the Skyridge Gyarados CGC10/Auto10
Paid $4008 total, shipped straight to vault. I overpaid i think but happy with purchase.

Will you be paying tariffs from China on that $4,000 purchases? That might be brutal.

No tariffs, already spoke with pokecolor, its shipped under Delivered Duty Paid DHL expedited. They said they cover the charge, all i pay is the 4008
