I need new penny sleeves. I bought hundreds at a card store like 6 years ago (so first re buying now).
When searching on amazon, I saw a packaging that is different from what I usually have owned. Did ultra pro change the packaging? Or are these just for baseball cards?

Check out KMC perfect sleeves as well. I highly recommend them for binder collections. Pricer but if it’s any collection you care about it, it’s worth it imo. They handle a lot better.
How are KMC sleeves different from ultra pro penny sleeves? I never heard of kmc…so I am unaware
Many collectors shy away from them because they can cause warping/cupping
KMC are great for double sleeving. They tend to be used by anyone playing the tgc or other games like magic for this reason. I’ve used them before for magic decks but don’t like them for Pokemon because they are a VERY snug fit and I worry about chipping when putting cards in the sleeve.
Right after I bought 2,000 of them ;p, fml never clear info on this process haha. That said they are a LOT easier to get into a binder than the ultra pro pennys which are somewhat of a nightmare at times even in the ultra pro binder
I’m thinking about using KMC sleeves going forward, since they are supposedly a bit shorter than the Ultra Pro penny sleeves. As @primordialaa said, they are a pain to get into certain binders (i use dragon shields mostly). Also I heard that the warping issue was fixed with the newer versions. Although I might be wrong on that.
I use BCW penny sleeves for my binders. They are cheap and a little shorter than Ultra Pro so they fit better into binders.
