No, unfortunately not. 
They are overshadowed (and possibly even ousted) for a reason. Their artworks are less appealing and lacking something.
Even the Mew holo rare card listed here, I donāt find it appealing enough to cast a vote for it, despite me being a Mew fan.

Yea, so many amazing holos excluded. Not sure the point of a poll like this when tons of cards people mightve voted for arent even included. I feel like this should be done in sections or by sets and then including the top winners from each set.

Lol I know. Iām not sure people realize Iām probably one of the biggest fans of all these cards. Even the lamest of lame camerupt from RS.
But itās supposed to be a poll for finding the best most iconic card of ex era. Iām not going to put in stuff like Butterfree, lunatone, crawdaunt etc etc. The Eevees in SS have the closest honorable mention imo but Iād be lying to myself if I thought they were the most iconic holos of the era (if Umbreon had an English Holo Iād throw that in)
It sounds like most people wanna do a tier list of everything which is fine, but I think we may have done that already. If not we can.
I thought that people would be able to realize that even if itās your favorite card, it does not make it the grail icon of the era

I really like this shift in E4 where we have tons of card polls, in addition to collection threads this has been a great showcase of such beautiful cards and nice conversations around them!

Honestly, I wouldnāt know if any of them were iconic or not since I didnāt collect them during the period. Just voted for whatever I liked.

Yeah lol. I guess each category is too different. I was very curious to see what the best of each type would be but I think most people just want a tier list of everything. Thatās a good topic too but not exactly something Iām super interested in since itāll be different for everyone.
I figured we could reach some sort of concrete-ish definition of grail as imo thereās only a few real contenders. But if we need to have every beautifly represented idk itās probably more work than itās worth

Both come from sets that do not have gold stars. They knew they had to spice up the sets somehow I guess
Art is gonna be subjective but imo with the exception of sets with great regular card themeing (TRR, Delta Species/Holon Phantoms, Unseen Forces) the post-ereader holos kinda justā¦exist. Their inclusion feels more like a formality rather than something that contributes to set identity.
