Order Cancellations

Hi Folks,

My apologies if this has already been addressed, but with PayPal’s new policy on canceled orders, is there any way to recoup losses or charge the buyer a cancellation fee? I had a buyer purchase an item for several hundred dollars, pay, and then immediately request to cancel the order. I assume I’m just going to have to eat the cost in PayPal fee’s, but am hoping there is another option.


They did not implement it yet because of all the backlash. They also have not made a statement yet whether they still will or not. For now they are not withholding the 2.9% fees on refunds.


Thank you for the info . . . I typically don’t mind the minor annoyance of canceling orders, unpaid orders, etc., but this had me worried.
