This is an error where the wrong texture was applied and it also appears to be skewed.
The texture is from Paras. The “4” is the #46
You can also see the mushrooms and claws on paras fill the texture void on the charizard
Wow, great detective work, thank you very much. Out of curiosity did you just figure this out because of the #4 or have you seen this kind of misprint before?
It was clear it was the wrong texture applied. I could see the four the general shape around the charizard that was missing texture. I started with #4 Charmander which didn’t fit. Checked #14,24,34,40,41-45. The positioning of the 4 was kind of odd but now I realize it’s because Paras’ name is so short.
So yeah, it was just a matter of finding which pokemon had the 4 and fit best into the void
