Saw this pop up on Virbank recently and thought it was worth it’s own discussion thread. Are errors in Staff promos common? What would cause this? 
They are uncommon but not unheard of. The stamp is added after the card is printed just like the 1st ed stamps. A large portion of the printed cards are left unstamped and distributed as a regular prerelease card while a smaller portion receives a pressure + gold foil stamp treatment. If the card is misaligned during stamping this error will happen. Here’s another example :

Often, valuable cards with offset stamps only hurt the value.

the offset stamp that really is the coolest is the upsidedown wb stamp on the movie cards. dunno if anything can compare to that
