Where would you guys put the value of this:
There are misprints and errors that I think are simple and of potentially of value as collectibles. Miscuts, square cuts, holo bleeding, and hell even gray 1st edition stamps.
I never liked print line errors. Regardless if it was a line in the holo pattern or a line on the card - I think it looks messy and takes away from the card. This just look like someone took orange highlighter to the card.
I already think the prices of Charizards are a bit ridiculous but I would place this only SLIGHTLY above a regular shadowless PSA 7. Not anywhere near it’s asking price.
I wouldn’t pay PSA 7 market price let alone a premium. It’s ugly. Absolutely disgusting actually. Shameful. Sad.
@azulryu,
I have a regular who wants to know what to offer and I really have no clue what to tell him. Thanks for the info.
It’s cool, I’ve seen shadowless machamps with the same misprint, collectable but not super valuable in my opinion
I’d value it at around $400-650… But then I don’t value minute errors in the way that some others do. There might be someone who would pay more. It also looks like a solid 7 to me.
Several years ago a member here bought a 1st ed. Gyarados with a similar surface and ink related defect. On that card it made it appear as though bubbles were floating from the bottom to the top, which was an interesting addition. Although you might say these are both in the same class I don’t see the vertical yellow lines as adding value in the same way as it would in the case of the Gyarados.
