So I’m mainly a sealed WOTC collector, both for personal collection and long term investments that are fun to keep. I’ve currently got a Lost Thunder Booster box that I acquired through trading bulk.
Would you guys agree that it would be smarter to sell the box and invest the profits into more sealed WOTC packs? Or should I keep the box? I know that Sun and Moon sets have been a mess in terms of printing numbers and I doubt they will see the climb in price like other previous sets.
Since you are a WOTC sealed collector, and one should always collect what one like and not what the better “investment” would be I would totally advise you to just convert it to WOTC sealed stuff.
I think for a $75-$90 box you’re over thinking it.
If youre a WOTC collector than keep on doing that. If you want to test the water, and branch into newer product then do that.
For purchases under $100 you shouldn’t be too concerned about value, unless you plan on holding it long term (5+ years).
Good point guys. I think I just would be much happier turning that box into 3-4 fossil/team rocket/base 2 packs
Edit: the only recent set I feel interested in picking up is evolutions, because I absolutely loved that set.
