I just mentioned on the pkmntcgcollections-reddit how Aquapolis had one of the weirdest numbering imo. It has H1/H32 through H32/H32 for the Holofoil Rares; then 1/147 through 147/147 for the regular cards, which each had a Reverse Holo variation; and then 148/147 through 150/147 for the Secret Rares. All in all still pretty normal, but then there are those pesky 50a/147 and 50b/147 Psyducks; 74a/147 and 74b/147 Drowzees; 95a/147 and 95b/147 Mr. Mimes; and 103a/147 and 103b/147 Porygons that screw things over…
Someone else mentioned that in the recent era there were also some promos with an a in their set numbering, which is indeed the case for the Yellow A Alternative Card promos. All of them indeed use an a for the set number, except for the BREAKpoint Delinquent for some reason, which uses a b instead. So that’s my first question: why does Delinquent use b instead of a?
Then it also made me wonder which other sets there are with non-numeric set numbering. I know about the A/28 through !/28 Unowns of the EX Unseen Forces set; the SH Shining Pokémon; the ONE through FOUR Alph Lithograph trainer cards; the RC Radiant Collection cards of XY Generations. I guess there should be quite a few more, so who can name them all?
Greetz,
