It wouldn’t surprise me if Target is making this an online-only drop, tbh. Probably not worth the headache to release it in stores given the hype.

I’ve tried so many things at this point, I’m definitely on Target’s blacklist at this point haha. Tried multiple accounts, credit cards etc. No dice. IP blocked maybe lol.
Which is lame, because my first attempt was legit. I just tried to cop two.

I definitely had the same thoughts cross my mind too. I can imagine the raw price of the three Charizards together evening out to about the MSRP price of the box, with the cherry on top being that if you bought it through somewhere like Target, you get the additional packs to enjoy however you want.
I am glad they are making this box more widely available as I personally wouldn’t want to pay a premium to have this, but I really am happy that I can add this artwork to my collection, with no hassle/hoping to get lucky in store on release day, at the floor price!

No I haven’t. I may try that. Idk tho, might not be worth the effort.
Target was just a backup in case Gamestop cancelled my orders.
Preorders are somehow still up at Target! Get yours in if you still need one!

I feel like I keep missing these. Everytime I check efour to see there’s a Pokémon center or target preorder up, it’s either unavailable or when I get it into my cart to checkout there’s an error lol.
Anyone know where in the UK I can get my hands on one?
Availability seems very high compared to celebrations. I don’t think it will run up like celebrations but I also didn’t see ES breaking $250 15 months after release soooo just a guess

Congrats! See you on “opening day”. The only ones whose orders I’ve seen get canceled are ones who placed more than one order.

I got an order in at Target, but I cancelled the pre order shortly thereafter. I realized I’m paying $120 for 3 cards. If I’m gonna spend that kind of money, I wanna consider the Japanese release for the cards, if they have one, and compare prices.
I hope it will still be worth MSRP a year from now. I’m getting exhausted from modern stonking.

Fair point, but you also get 16 SWSH packs, a playmat and sleeves too. For me the value is there, but I Definitely understand if the rest of the contents aren’t your thing.

Right. The value is there for most people. I’m an anomaly in that I only want the cards.
I hope you get high quality cards. It’d be great for the a mint set of PSA 10s to pay for the 2 boxes.

Its half a booster box plus 3 guarenteed alt arts and theyre all charizard for the same price as 1 booster box. Idc how much they print its far better than any modern booster box

I didn’t even think of it this way. Plus the packs are a cross-section of the entire set which is pretty awesome. Get a nice little sampling of the whole platter.
