Neo Revelation holo bleeds

I’ve seen the holo bleeds for houndoom, crobat, misdreavus, celebi, ho oh, magikarp, and gyarados, but haven’t really seen the others. If anyone could post pictures of the others showcasing the bleed or next to the normal version I would really appreciate it. Trying to track down a full set and want to know what they look like. Thanks

Many of them are very subtle

As PkmnFlyingMaster observed, the others are pretty subtle, but typically have at least some holo sparkles on the creature art itself

they are kind of subtle

Incredibly subtle for many of them. Think of it as literally if the card has more pop then it may be a bleed, but that can be subjective.

Was this for Neo discovery also? I have an umbreon in which the pokemon is pretty much see through

There are indeed a few Neo Discovery holofoils like this as well, although not a lot. I only saw it for the first time a couple of months ago in this thread:

Here a regular version from my own collection as comparison:

Can you post a picture? For Umbreon it isn’t unusual to have some transparency in the body/chest area, where the holo shines through. Both in Japanese and English.

Not the greatest shot but you’re probably right that it’s just the way the card was printed, slightly showing through body and rock it’s standing on. Reminds me of some of the DP sets where the holo would bleed through the entire card.

Yeah, that’s nothing out of the ordinary IMO. Maybe a bit more transparent than mine, but nothing I’d call holo bleed. Beautiful card nontheless

Definitely holo bleed, but not the same kind as the Neo Revelations misprints or that Scizor. More like aregular holo bleed similar as, which you already mentioned, those Secret Wonders or XY Evolutions holo bleeds. So a cool holo bleed card for sure, but I personally don’t think it’s in the same category as those Neo Revelations or Scizor which seem to have been missing parts of the white layer during the printing proces. Some more info about that in this excellent video by @pkmnflyingmaster. I’ve let it start at 7:45 where he mentions those Neo Revelations misprints, but for anyone reading this who hasn’t seen the video yet, I suggest to watch the entire video, since it’s very informative on how Pokémon cards are printed and how certain misprints occur.

I just got some Revelation holos in the mail today all from the same seller, three of which I knew were holo bleeds (Houndoom, Misdreavus, Crobat) because they were obvious. However I also bought this Porygon2 from him which I wasn’t certain about; I didn’t know if there was a way to tell it apart from the normal version.

After comparing it to another one I have, though, there’s a definite difference: the light border surrounding Porygon2’s character artwork is absent in the holo bleed version because the holo has ‘bled’ into that part of the artwork. I’m pretty sure this could be a consistent way to tell apart holo bleeds for Porygon2. Just thought I’d share.

Normal on left, holo bleed on right.
