After seeing the runaway prices of completed english sets I’ve been looking at Japanese sets from the Neo era.
The biggeset thing I noticed is the set sizes look to be different, 96 for Japanese and 111 for English.
I am struggling to find a set list for the Japanese cards so I’m unsure what 15 cards were added to the English set. Could anyone point me in the right direction?

I have seen some Japanese sets with the full 111 so should probably be aiming for one of those sets and save the time of locating the extras!
Alos for the Neo Genesis in japanese you have a few promo cards (Corocoro proms like Wooper) and the banned artworks of Moo Moo Milk and the 2 with the gambling machine that you can add to complete the set
Off topic slightly, so looking at the other Neo sets, Destiny, Revelation, the shining cards look to be rarer than their English counterparts and on average alot more expensive?
Whatever you save on the ‘japanese discount’ those two sets give, you spend more to fully complete the set. The premium on the English set isn’t quite so much of a premium then . . Hmmm
Obviously Japanese Neo Genesis still represents a huge saving however £300 vs £1000 on average for an excellent to NM/Mint set.
