My team is the LA Clippers! Ive been a fan since '05 so I’ve been through all the ups and downs (mostly downs…) and I feel like we have a pretty good chance of at least making it to the western conference finals this year! The first game vs the spurs really showed our potential.
I’m a diehard Celtics fan by loyalty but I’ve loved the Warriors since Steph joined the league. Such an electric player! I’m so glad they improved so much this year when compared to last year.
But seriously, playoff hockey is some of the best sports ever. I’m a massive Bruins fan, but we missed the playoffs this year, so I’m rooting for the Senators (who aren’t doing so hot). I could care less about the Celtics honestly, I mean they are my hometown team, but ever since we lost our big three and Rondo there hasn’t really been anyone recognizable.
I played basketball all through high school but don’t watch it much these days. My close friend loves the clippers so I watch them a bit, but I like how the warriors play. That Stephen Curry is a pure hooper.
Glad to see others though into sports. If that NHL thread gets started, I will be all over it.
Ive always been the butt of the joke liking the clippers when most people around me are laker fans. Now most of the laker fans have joined the warriors bandwagon, so i will be glad when they are eliminated. lol
You only root for your hometown team if they have good players? Where’s the loyalty? We actually aren’t horrible this year, we have pretty good potential.
We’re up 2-0 now, and there’s no way Memphis or Portland can beat us tbh haha. I’m actually really excited about the spurs/clippers series though, I’m predicting it’s going to 7.
Dang, didn’t know one of the 3 real Clippers fans was into Pokemon
Lol, I kid. Not all Clippers fans are bandwagoners, but they do have alot more red shirts in their home games than they had 5-6 years ago when they weren’t that good lol.
I guess I’m a Lakers “fan” because they do play an hour away from where I live so it’s easy to go to their games or chat with other Lakers fans, but I’m not a big enough basketball fan to actually follow them through the entire year even when they’re good. Football is a different story though, I won’t miss a single Pats game ^.^
Conley is banged up, so idk about Memphis in a 7 game series, but Portland matches up better just because they can put up points behind their 3-point shooting. Too bad Portland seems like they can’t handle the physical style of play Memphis likes playing, they’re most likely on their way out…
Always been a Lakers fan but root for the Clips too since I was born and raised in Los Angeles.
Curry and his No-Cal cronies are great but I can’t root for them.
