National Sports Collectors Convention 7/28 - 8/1 in Chicago

Hey E4,

The sports national is coming up in 2 weeks, this year it is in Chicago. Here is a link to the website. With the growth of Pokemon in the past year, it’s safe to say the sports world has took notice and I imagine there will be more Pokemon cards this year than any prior national. I will be there on the first full day, Thursday, July 29th, and I was wondering if any other E4 members plan to attend as well? It would be great to get a group together to meet up if other people plan on attending. Let us know your plans in the comments below!

I took off work and will be there all 4 days. Also, around 10 people on Discord have confirmed they’re going.

This will be the largest card show in the world. Paradise for collectors of any type. They usually say, “If you can’t find it at the National, it probably doesn’t exist.” Booths used to have $100k worth of cards sitting out. With recent price increases, you’ll probably find several booths with $10m+ worth of cards inches away.

I can’t wait to go.

I live in Chicago - will unfortunately be out of town for most of it, but will try to swing by the 28th if work isn’t too busy.
