Recently had a card go from NY to Guam to California, a 6000 mile detour that took an extra 9 days of shipping…

don’t know what this means :\

It’s Jason Voorhees’ card now

According to PWCC the card has been sent back to them and they don’t know why. Hope it’s not going to get damaged going back and forth like this

Normally it’s either postage due, damage to package, or unreadable receivers address.

so card arrived back at PWCC. They’ve emailed me saying there’s no reason as to why it was sent back and now they’ve sent it again to me with new tracking number.

That’s BS of course. They didn’t want to admit a mistake,

Actually, this has happened to me with a customer from Finland. Sent over a month ago and customer was early Xmas shopping. It arrived in my hands about a week ago because of “insufficient postage” though the package itself weighed 2.56oz and I paid for 3oz… It was very annoying as I sent the customer out a replacement beforehand as the tracking did not update and it was “lost”.

Look at the bright side, at least now you have peace of mind knowing that the card is not lost forever.

that did cross my mind too. willing to give them the benefit of the doubt though

Well, don’t. Packages get returned for a reason which is always clear, or made clear, to the sender, because a refund or extra fees will be made. Even the USPS doesn’t return packages to the customer who sent it for fun. There’s always a reason;)
