@pkmnflyingmaster, I agreee that this amount of supply shouldn’t cause a panic since there is worldwide demand, but seeing one single person with this many cards does negatively impact consumer confidence. Personally, my consumer confidence in an item is negatively impacted when I see one person with an excessive supply and/or drastic price drops/fire sales.

@pkmnflyingmaster, that’s good to know and it does make a difference, but I still understand how it can make people less confident in purchasing.
Today three new scream cards got posted on the buy it now section. They are all raw cards but are priced like PSA 10’s. Even in their titles they are labeled PSA 10’s. But the pic is of a card in a sleeve.

I’m buying up every scream pikachu I see. It should be a $100 card.
These cards are truly unique.
Don’t expect them to be cheap forever.
I was able to buy sets of eevee, rowlett and psyduck from Japan for $30 AUD 2 months ago.

The cards have done nothing but increase.
Even the most cynical perspective is simply wrong. The photo I shared was a Pokemon centers entire stock. The supply isn’t really an issue when the cards are extremely popular. I’ve sold them to people who don’t collect pokemon cards but love the crossover.
Even the “least rare” are most likely 1st Edition Wotc quantity. The range in rarity in the Scream set adds a nice challenge. The most expensive card is still affordable. They are the best release of 2018.

Yes, I made a poor assumption that this was a single resellers stock. This promo set has all the signs.
We all need to get a few sets to keep and then make it a part of the E4 manifesto to find the rest of the cards and burn them.

There are hardly any left available on eBay, and the ones that are seems to have gone up in price even more. I too agree that these should be worth 100+
PSA 10 Mimikyu just sold for $330
Do you think that might be an indicator of a dip in price or was it just a one off good deal?
I was taking about the Pikachu cards. But to be honest that’s quite cheap for a PSA 10 Mimikyu, I think someone got a good deal.

Oh I know, just thought I’d mention it. I don’t think they’re worth that (for now). You can get an ungraded one right now for ~$130 and they’re guaranteed to be a 9 or a 10.
That’s a fair point. Where do you see Pikachu ending up? There has been a large influx of sales recently on eBay, with not many left available. Price seem to have increased over the past few days too.
I guess this is a good case study for SMpratte’s rarity vs scarcity ideology.

Pikachu will be the most valuable long term IMO. I think ungraded it’ll settle around $100.

Is upgraded code for PSA graded? If not what does "upgraded’ mean? is $100 for a PSA 10 graded card or a raw one?
