Who is your pick? I have a heck of a time picking between these two. Originally I was Moonbreon, but picked up a beautiful Sunbreon at a show and its stunning in person.

Moonbreon is weird to me because if it was trying to paw at the moon, shouldn’t it be facing towards the ocean? Also, is that actually the sun in the Sunbreon card? Isn’t that just the full moon?
Regardless, I like the shapes, colors and the way Umbreon looks in the Prismatic Evolutions card more.
Neither can touch the actual greatest Umbreon card

My fave is Neo Discovery 1E but that felt like cheating putting that and Karen’s on here lol. Umbreon V from SWSH I could have added I suppose.

Sunbreon is a ridiculous and cringe name. I agree with @ascendedbidoof, it’s just a big yellow full moon. Umbreon is literally a moon Pokemon. The sun is Espeon’s domain

I love yawning Umbreon. If I am comparing the real heavy hitters I am putting Neo against Karen’s tbh lol.

They really didnt miss. Neo eevee remains my favorite artwork over 30 years. I like discovery better but these two are obstensibly “sun” and “moon” coded

Especially because it illustrates Umbreon as having fur, and not as a smooth alien freak like every other card.

I much prefer the Moonbreon. I remember watching Rattle burning money trying to pull one, it’s nostalgic at this point.
The Prismatic Eeveelutions are all a bit tainted to me personally due to appearing in godpacks. I do like the art on many of them but I’d rank the Umbreon almost at the bottom personally.
I want to make sure I understand the argument here, the prismatic ones are bad because they might have a higher hit rate?
Odd argument, agree. Their pull rate and gem rate is quite low
