There are a lot of different personalities, but when it comes down to it, some say that there are only two types of persons; the people that choose Hitmonchan, and those that choose Hitmonlee.
When I stood there in the dojo, looked the master in the eye, and glanced the two pokéballs lying before me, I knew there was only one choice. Hitmonlee came out of the pokéball. He didn´t say much, but we both knew that words weren´t nessecary. I´d like to leave it at that.
Hitmonlee is my second favorite fighting type after Heracross. An utterly neglected mon, Fossil is the only decent card he ever got. Yellow sprite slaps.
I always slightly preferred Hitmonlee (actually Hitmontop is my favorite to be honest, but idk if it counts).
I also remember it was quite better to use in games thanks to its decent attack and cool moves like High jump kick.
Compared to Hitmonchan it’s much more weird looking/pokemon-like, which is a plus to me
I’ve always liked Hitmonlee a lot more than Hitmonchan. Hitmonchan is in my bottom-100 Pokémon tbh. Not sure if Hitmonlee will make it into my top-100 tbch, but it’s definitely way better than Hitmonchan.
I prefer Bruce, since I´m a pretty big fan of him, not just of his fighting skills, but also his philosophy. ´One branch isn´t better than the other. It simply grows in a different way.´
I actually tried quite a few of these. It usually doesn´t end well.
