Hi my fellow Umbreon brothers,

Was just browsing the japanese sites today hoping to snag a moonbreon that will be affordable but noped my way out after seeing that prices are still astronomical. A song to dedicate my naiveness on release date that 40k yen was too expensive. Sing to the tune of “Yesterday”.

Yesterday,
All my troubles seem so far away~
thought that moonbreon’s price will stay that way.
But it went up, the fkin next day.

Suddenly,
my Yen deposit is not what it used to be ~ (yen crash)
when will you come down from the Chimney,
Oh Umbreon~ My only.

Why, you, had to grow, I dont know, it’s not okay,
Please, do, reprint more, now I long for Yesterday. XD

I FOMO’d the Japanese Umbreon at $400, I think the lowest I ever seen it was in the upper $300s

Price for English is not bad, but the texture doesn’t compare to the original.

The JP textures seem to have more nuance. They don’t necessarily make more sense, (but often do). The Mimikyu is a big one, but also the Galaraian Articuno is a BIG difference, really exaggerating and making the other mon stand out. I have both sitting on my desk ATM, and they’re gorgeous, each to their own (but that’s why they’re there, of course.)
