Mega Evolution Bulbasaur Stamped Promo?

Are you guys picking up the bulbasaur ME stamped promo? The prices are finally reasonable. Also do you guys see this card doing well in the future?

I will be the first to say that I am not, in fact, picking up the Mega Evolutions stamped Bulbasaur promo.

Haha roger that guys, im curious as to why though? A buddy of mine said that it had too much of a modern aesthetic for him, he is a hardcore vintage collector so i figured it might not appeal to us older people. But then again to those younger generations this might be their flavour..

I can see this continuing to go down in price in the near term, and at some point ill buy some for future value play, but im not buying it right now or to just collect. You asked why people arent buying it, i mean you can ask anyone why they aren’t buying card x or y, its all personal preference. For me its just not part of my collection goals. 35$ card guaranteed in every ebooster box, there will be tens of thousands and easy to pickup at any point in the future

My response was just tongue in cheek :slightly_smiling_face: I don’t try to build positions on cards, so there’s not some larger reason at play for me.

As far as I know, promos have been doing very well in this boom, so it’s possible they will do so again in the future (or continue to do well). I think most people that lean more towards collecting vintage (which E4 definitely does) will poopoo on the current state of the market right now. But it’s clear that that isn’t the prevailing mindset, or the market wouldn’t be where it is at this moment. I haven’t followed the thread at all, but the title here sounded relevant enough to your discussion point.

I like it and bought a couple. The card without the stamp already looks fantastic, and the stamp is an added bonus. One will go in a binder and one is getting sent in to get graded :+1:t3:

After looking over 200 copies of the promo, only 2 was Gradable. Quality control was lacking imo.

To be honest, I´m not picking them up either. The reason is that I like vintage better for two reasons; they are more scarce and, to me, nostalgic. It is a modern Bulbasaur though, so if the POP doesn´t get too high, it could be a good pick-up.
