You think Kang is cooked? Surprised to see it this low
Welcome to the forum!
Kang will never be cooked!
Hi investoroak,
Welcome to the forum! What price were you expecting the Kang to end at such that it wouldn’t be “cooked?” And what is your reasoning for the price point?
Happy to engage in the conversation once I understand your reasoning a bit more

This was the same copy that was supposedly sold for $84,000 on Fanatics Collect. It looks like some sports bro shilled their own card and then sent it off to DCSports on consignment.
The other sales in 2025 have been pretty strong. I think this was more of an issue with it being a CGC graded card and being sold by a sports card dealer on eBay without any advertisement than “Kang being cooked” per se.
Auctioning a high 5 figure card randomly through eBay with 0 advertising is not very wise. I’ll never understand people that sell high value cards like this.
Tbh, I think it’s more likely that the owner ran into financial issues or trying to take advantage of an opportunity & needed to quick sell it but who knows.
I thought this was a fair price.
Im with you here.
Pervasive mindset that if it isn’t going up x amount by y time while everything else has climbed, it is “cooked”
Number can’t always exponentially go up.
On a holiday weekend as well. You also have the awkward cgc 10 (non pristine) grade. All things considered, not bad of a result imo.
Not a bad price for a PSA 8-9 copy
that same sports bro auctioned a bunch of high end cards ended last night prolly 100s of k spent on pwcc/HA/goldin over the last 2-3 months but dumped all on ebay on a sat night its prolly all real tbh they just lost a ton of $$$
others like the shadowless charbar, the various test prints, master scroll etc are like 5-10k losses each
Prob the same as selling for 80k on goldin or heritage with their fees vs eBay so about the same for seller ha
