Whenever I look at bottom part of Galarian Moltres it instantly reminds me of MTG Demonic Hordes.

Alt Arts are forever. I plan to have 25+ of those Zapdos, will go nicely next to my WOTC Roadrunner card
LOVE the Special Art Blaziken VMAX!! Cards that tell a cool story or feature multiple Pokémon are easily my favourite.
I loved the alternate art Tag Team GXs but these V/VMAXs are on another level. Sometimes the GXs had too much text that kind of overwhelmed the card.

Holy moley, the birds, Blaziken and Komiya’s Slowking are insane. Quite unlike most other Pokemon cards I’ve seen so far.

The art that’s coming out with these recent sets is incredible. Wish they’d stop with the Rainbow Rare stuff, but honestly it feels like TPCI is moving in the right direction for art choices. So little of the recent sets is 5ban meh-ness and each 5ban card I’ve seen so far has a Full Art artist-generated counterpart.
It also looks like they’re having more fun with their designs and doing what I hoped would happen - just doing fun little weird stuff with designs and going full icon mode in their choices. So much of this stuff reminds me of the weird and wonderful art we’d see in the early years of Pokemon in Japan.
These recent sets have me smiling ear to ear. Absolutely LOOOOVE the Moltres especially.

For realllll! The artwork on average in the last like 3 or 4 sets is miles above amost everything in SM and most of XY. I’m so happy with the commons and uncommons, and then the full arts are just super super good
