Master List of the Rarest Pokémon Cards

Thank you for such a great resource! I have some questions, hope some of you experts can answer.

I understand that the list of cards 1k+ is not comprehensive, but being listed here the Masaki set makes me think that a card which has a distribution around 30k is considerably rare, is it correct? Now, I’m back to the hobby since not long, and I quickly learned that prices nowadays don’t capture limitedness of the card, but I wonder how much the circulation of a normal set was. In other words, what’s distribution of a normal Skyridge holo, for example? Let’s not consider the actual rarity due to destroyed and lost copies. I’m interested up to Wotc.

I found some interesting information in the topic “Relative scarcity of sets” but if correctly understand the rules it’s forbidden to up such an old thread.
