Well I was completely wrong.
A pole dancing Keckleon, Thunder-Stepping Raikou, the unhinged Magmortar and ofcourse the Rayquaza. It is a great set. I personally liked how the regular set cards looked but even the FA cards seem to be top tier. It is going to be a great set.

The Raikou SIR is my favorite card here for sure. I hope the other two dogs get their own SIRs in future sets as well

It kinda reminds me that they reversed the rayquaza sar from the Pocket SIRs with the SIRs from this set.
The pocket three star card has the normal rayquaza featured, just like the charizard, dragonite sars from mega dream and inferno x
This, on the other hand, looks more like a pocket card. Still cool though lol.
I know that Darkrai and mega gengar from mega dream didn’t have their pre mega evos featured.
But, still it’s kinda cool.

Higher resolution
Like Mega Zeraora ex, Mega Chandelure ex and Mega Darkrai ex, there’s no actual environment but a black background (space?) filled with its radiating aura. There is also a snake-like golden branch in front of it, which I’m not sure if it alludes to anything more

Upon closer inspection I believe the branch to signify that it is locked in a battle of the ages with Mega Sudowoodo EX.
It kind of looks like it’s falling towards the earth’s core, potential spat with Groudon? Although 1. It can fly and 2. It spends most of its time basically in space, so maybe not

Even the Raikou super rare looks like a must-have for me.
The opinion on Insta for the Mega Ray SIR wasn’t favourable when I saw a post about it yesterday… countless people bemoaning that it looks like AI. I don’t see that myself.

When blue sky stream and evolving skies dropped I was chasing the Rayquaza for months and months without any luck
After seeing these pictures of the textures up close I already know im about to put myself through the same thing

Artwork on this Inkay might be my second favorite after stripper Kecleon. The style is like if Shinji Kanda and Atsuko Nishida had a baby.
