These decks will follow the same release format as ex Starter Set Marnie’s Morpeko & Grimmsnarl ex & ex Starter Set Steven’s Beldum & Metagross ex decks earlier this February. English versions are expected to be 1:1 with Illustration Rare style promos exclusive to the decks
Considering they didn’t put [potentially] SAR Marnie’s Grimmsnarl ex and SAR Steven’s Metagross ex in Destined Rivals, I think if SAR Mega Gengar ex and SAR Mega Diancie ex exist in Mega Dream ex they will keep it 1:1 for the EN special set possibly in January. Not to mention Phantasmal Flames is really a setup for Mega Charizard X ex as the flagship chase, like other Charizard sets
Unironically, they did that with Charizard VMAX in 2020. It’s originally from the JP Charizard & Grimmsnarl VMAX Starter Set decks, transferred to Darkness Ablaze without SR or HR. Both ended up in the special set Champion’s Path
Oh yeah very true about Charizard VMAX! Mega Dream makes sense for them, but I could see a whole Mega Gengar set akin to Phantom Forces again with how popular gengar is.

Just a heads up, there are curated “blurry ETB booklet images” of SIR Mega Gengar ex (and SIR Mega Charizard ex) circulating about on social media. Given how rampant AI-generated illustrations are nowadays, it’s better to ignore any “leaks” until the official reveals & openings
