The two luckiest pulls I can remember:
I bought a Korean CP6 (XY Evolutions) booster box to get the non-Holo Base Set artwork Pikachu, with a small chance on the Secret Rare Pikachu. The set contains 16 Secret Rares, so I mainly bought it for the non-Holo Pikachu, and figured I’d buy the Secret Rare as single later on. But, I actually pulled it in one of the last packs of the box.
The other one was this:
Bought a Chinese EX Legend Maker booster box on impulse, after seeing this thread here (thanks @smellyblueberry !). Was able to win the box that was up for bidding for 111.11 USD (and an additional 20 USD shipping and 35 euros import fees). And let me say, I’m very glad I did. The opening of this box has been one emotional rollercoaster, and the end result is amazing!
After I opened the first six packs and didn’t had any holofoil card at all I was kinda worried and very disappointed. I knew the box had to contain at least some holos, but zero from the first six packs was pretty bad.
After that I pulled four more holos, including the one I wanted most from the entire set: Registeel Gold Star!!
Very happy with my pulls. Here a picture of the five holos:
All of them have very tiny whitening spots on the corners, so they most likely won’t get a 10, but since I planned a submission to BGS soon to try and get a BGS-10 Moltres WotC #21 Promo, I decided to also send in the Flygon EX and Registeel Gold Star at the same time, to see what they’ll get.
Of which I later graded two of them in my first BGS sendoff:
