Looking For Lost Youtube Video, Epic Collection: BoricuaKid

There was once a wonderfully filmed card collection on Youtube uploaded, if my memory serves me, by someone with the username BoricuaKid (or something along those lines) from Ozone Park, Queens, New York. On Youtube during approximately 2008-2010, the video was a collection of still shots, three per nine-pocket page, set to eerie, slow-paced music that made much use of bells. The collection went only through Neo and then ended with Japanese promos–including the Masakis and Birthday 'Chu–and a First Edition-Base 'Zard in a toploader.

I think BoricuaKid, if that was his name, made a new channel in early 2010. The new channel had a few videos of his car. I believe that channel is currently deleted, probably replaced by another new channel, and I cannot locate the video.

Ring any bells?! This was a great video that, chief among other factors, re-sparked my interest in collecting after a several-year hiatus. If someone helps me find it, I’d happily mail him or her a small reward!

Thanks!

Hey! After spending a little time trying for find him on google and yt…I just cant seem to locate the video. With the video so old, it is extra difficult

as it is deleted, there isnt a way to message…as far as I am aware? And this may not even be the guy ha.

Fun fact

From the Taíno name for Puerto Rico, Borikén Boricuas were the natives who lived in what is known today as Puerto Rico (Borinquen). Boricua (Puerto Rican) means “Brave and noble lord”. Borinquen means “Land of the brave and noble lords”.

Thanks so much for taking the time to look! That channel looks like it could easily be his (based on the name and picture of a card). But apparently there’s no other information or way to message him…

Do you remember the video, by any chance?

Wow, never knew it–thanks for sharing!

I dont unfortunately.I’m sorry I couldnt help! I started collecting between 1999-2002 before the trend left my school ha. I think I went onto football stickers after then heh. I got back into collecting a few years ago because of my brother.
I told myself…nope do not buy the cards…avoid it or youll get too into it.My will power lasted about a year until purchasing a tin.

Several years later…here I am!!!

Hopefully someone remembers it and can locate the videos(if they are still on YT)

Hah, it’s not a bad hobby to get back into–as long as we can moderate our desires (and, hence, spending)! Do you ever film or take pictures of your collection? (I have an older video, filmed around the time of the video I was looking for, and think I’ll film a new one once I add a card or two more to my collection)
