I was going through my SWSH booster packs and noticed I had a few with long crimps (similar to those on early WoTC foreign packs). The packs in question are on the left. I only found them on Fusion Strike and Lost Origins. Does anyone know where these came from? I broke down a bunch of boxes and tins and didn’t keep track of which pack came where. I didn’t even know any of the SWSH packs had this type of crimp. I know Cosmic Eclipse packs from the Knock Out boxes have these same type of long thin crimps but not sure the origins of those packs either. I’m trying to figure out if these long crimps exist for any other modern sets since I’ve only seen them on these and Cosmic Eclipse.

Do you still have any of the sealed packs? Also, do you recall which sets had these long crimps? I didn’t have any UPCs so mine came from something else.
I had heard somewhere that some modern cards were printed in the Netherlands?
I broke down a ton of the knockout collections that had 1 FS and 1 ES. I’d say maybe 1/4-1/3 of the FS packs were long crimp.
Yea I had heard that somewhere too but it’s strange that these were mixed in with packs from the same type of product.
Maybe it’s just kind of like a third-party that assembles the product display boxes for the promotions
I had a ton of Knock Out boxes (ES and FS) that I broke down too but I guess I never noticed the crimps since it looks like a very small percentage of mine have the long crimps. It’s also weird that none of my ES packs have them. I’m still unsure where the LO long crimp packs came from since I don’t recall opening up any Knock Out boxes that had LO in them but not 100% positive since I bought a few Knock Out boxes that came after the ES and FS combo. At this point I’m leaning towards them coming from the Knock Out boxes since I’m 100% sure the Cosmic Eclipse long crimp packs came from them too.
ES had 0 long crimps.
I believe I also had a few long crimps come out of broken down stacking tins from costco.
Do you know of any other sets other than Cosmic Eclipse, ES, and FS that had these long crimps? Also, do you happen to still have any? I’m looking to complete an art set of these packs and missing one artwork for LO.
For Modern English, no I don’t know of any other sets.
I’ve never actually seen the long crimp LO, so unfortunately I don’t have any to sell. I may have a few more FS, but I’d have to check. I sold through most of my SWSH loose packs already.
Yea I’m trying to figure out which sets have this long crimp variation since I’m trying to complete a master set of all booster pack artworks including any variations. I already have the art sets for FS and CE but missing the Enamorus artwork for LO.
