I’ve tried to find info about long booster packs, but I came up empty handed. Figured you guys could have some knowledge.
How were they distributed? What was the last extension to feature these long packs? Were all boosters distributed outside booster boxes and blister packs long packs?
I know that rocket long packs were distributed in just your typical brown cardboard boxes of 72x I believe.

So I assume they would be the same for the rest
As for ones that exist,they only come in the unlimited and are: Base,jungle,fossil,rocket,base2,gym heroes,gym challenge.
As for blisters they only came in:
Base,jungle,fossil,Rocket*,
So it seems for the English, these long packs between rocket and gym series, replaced blisters for a while. However with the introduction of the neo series, blisters made a reappearance, and long packs were forever phased out.
Unfortunately unlike blisters, the value of long packs are pretty much equivalent to the normal loose pack as it doesn’t really add much(just a bit longer at the top).
*rocket blisters were not done in English, but only Italian and French I believe
