Long packs

Long packs seem pretty much the same price as regular booster packs, yet although i may be wrong I believe they are rarer. Perhaps this is due to them not being seen as any different to regular packs.
Do any pack collectors here collect both the normal and long pack variants? (or just long packs)
Do you think long packs may in the future become different in value to regular packs?

I collect long packs and the regular packs. I’ve heard people say they are rarer but I’m not 100% sure where they get that understanding from. I speculate that it has to do with the fact that they were hung in the stores and maybe kids back in the day pulled on the packs which destroyed them.

I only like long packs with their chads in place.

I feel like you made this post just so you could use the word chad.

The cards are the same length, the packs just have a tab on the top.

Love your avatar btw

My thought is that long packs are rarer, I personally haven’t seen as many sealed 72 count long pack boxes (or even half as many) as I have seen sealed booster boxes of the sets that had long packs (Base, Fossil, Jungle, Team Rocket, Gym Heroes, Gym Challenge and Base Set 2 if I remember correctly)
