Alolan Muk is a confirmed poké-eater.

From Predator, straight to Prey.

Cheers!

Many of the predator-prey relationships in Pokemon is reflected in competitive matchups in the games where the predator is stronger or matches up great against the prey.

Durant however will destroy Heatmor with a guaranteed K.O from a Hustle+Life Orb boosted Rock slide 72% of the time.

Another such relationship is found between Lumineon the predator and Starmie the prey. Starmie will fry Lumineon with a couple of Thunderbolts or Psychics and all the Lumineon can do in return is run away with a paltry non-stab U-turn from a shit attack stat.

Despite Lumineon’s shitty attack stat, it is still greater than Lanturn’s, who is a fishy competitor for food according to the flavor text above.

Lanturn is based on an animal exhibiting extreme dimorphism but it is not reflected in its design.

Another example of noticeably lacking dimorphism from Johto would be Heracross, where the females are hornless:

Let’s stay in Johto with another starter mid-stage, also once owned by Ash. Both his Bayleef and Quilava did not evolve into their respective final stages before he kicked them off his team.

Another 47/111 fire pokemon, difficult to think it’s not this further when the sets were this small

Salazzle and Pupitar are both 3’11, so here’s a card of Pupitar

Skeletons and exoskeletons:

Speaking of eyes hiding in the shadows of a shell…

Hey, I’ve seen a card with the “hole in rocks on the right, Pokemon on the left” orientation before! How’s that for an odd card connection

And I’ve seen a Pokemon that lives in a hole (possibly on the right).

And a Pokemon that is a hole.
