She sounded more like an entitled little brat with princess syndrome saying that but ok, different interpretations I guess lol
bro she was a kid when she said that wth is wrong with you
Itâs a literal excerpt from the website. I mentioned it to highlight that itâs Ursâ collection, not to critique her character.
Im glad that she will be the consignor and not some grimey ig dude that sharks and shortchanges non engaged people then resells for a profit
Wow. Just wow.
I remember there were a lot of binder set collectors when I first started collecting (sets collectors seems like a dying breed these days..), but I only knew about TCA Gaming and GemMintPokémon doing PSA-10 sets of all the English WotC era sets.
This collection reminds me a lot of those, but it goes even beyond that. A full PSA-10 Japanese No Rarity set.
I wasnât even aware anyone completed that goal, given how low the pop are on some of the cards (e.g. the pop-2 Chansey mentioned earlier by @qwachansey). And of course all those trophies: two PokĂ©mon Illustrators; eight out of ten (high graded) SNAP cards; TMB trophy trio; 1997 trophy trio; two PSA-10 Kangaskhan; full English & French VS sets; etc.
I also giggled when I saw the Distributor promos among the cards, ngl. They definitely fit the bill of low pop rare cards, but I wasnât expecting to see them among all those trophy and PSA-10 Art Academy and ex cards on that shelve. ![]()
At this point, I doubt even TPC or TPCi knows all the cards that exist. When they were showcasing the Japanese Pikachu in the Tokyo Pokémon Center back in 2018, including SNAP and Art Academy cards and such, I remember I compared it to my own Pikachu collection and noticed some were missing in the display. And given how new card variations are being (re)discovered from as far back as 1996 in recent years, I doubt anyone would be able to compile a complete list of all Pokémon TCG cards across the 16 languages, even if they tried.
Nonetheless, it would be so cool to have a museum like that, or even just an online picture museum FWIW. One place that showcases all existing Pokémon TCG cards with all variations/languages, where people could filter on all kind of things to create their own collection checklists. ![]()
Greetz,
Quuador
she sounds like a child
I think neither Japan or International even has a complete database of set cards right? Maybe the TPCi website does, though itâs a terrible website.
Japan refused to even put up UR cards as late as Sword & Shield so itâs a lost cause.
Such a sick collection but the IG makes it SO CHEESY.
The fact that this whole website was unironically made is mindblowing lol.
It seems she even hired this model lad with 1.1M followers for their promo videoâŠ
Itâs gotta be a skitâŠRight?
The first posts in this thread made it seem like she was being objectified even though it was her collection not his, now youâre telling me that the guy isnât even her boyfriend? lmao so heâs the influencer and he is being objectified for a Pokemon collection promo video.
At least her favourite card isnât Base Set Charizard or Mario Pikachu.
Yeah itâs this guy - he has a wife (not her).
Honestly just seems really corny to me. Detracts from the collection.
just because you inherit something does it make it your collection though ? i mean, beyond legal considerations. kinda sad to see the collection turned this way, it was worthy of a museum project.
+1
Really amazing what is possible when you stop drinking that Starbucks coffee in the morning and just make it at home.
Hi everyone,
Iâm absolutely open to criticism, as long as itâs constructive. And of course, itâs completely understandable that questions come up. I just find it a bit unfortunate that instead of asking me directly, some prefer to discuss among themselves.
Anyway here I am ![]()
One of the main questions was whether the collection belongs to me.
No, Iâve never claimed that it personally belongs to me. Iâve only ever explained how it came to be.
When I was younger, I was very shy and wished for something that would help me connect with other children during school breaks. In my case, that was PokĂ©mon cards. I was just incredibly obsessed with PokĂ©mon, collecting simple packs and trading with my friends. When I said I wanted to have all PokĂ©mon cards one day, it wasnât meant in a bratty or entitled way. I was just a kid who loved it and didnât really understand what that would actually mean at the time.
Over time, that childhood idea grew into something much bigger and my hobby became my fatherâs hobby. Over the past 10 years, he built this collection with an incredible amount of time, passion, and dedication. So ultimately it is his work.
But anyone who knows my father personally knows that he is a very introverted person and has never been someone who seeks the public eye. He wants to stay private.
So we felt it made sense for me to be the face of the project. After all without my silly childhood dream, this collection simply wouldnât exist today.
Whether our approach to this release makes sense or not is something everyone can decide for themselves. We simply wanted to create something we personally find special. Switzerland is a very small country and the fact that the largest PokĂ©mon collection in the world is located here is something we donât take for granted.
We deliberately chose a bigger, more eye-catching presentation. Of course, we could have kept it simple and made a standard documentary but we felt a collection like this deserves a more unique approach.
In the end this was a family project for us and it was simply a fun opportunity to create something creative and share our story in our own way.
Now: why are we showing the collection now and might store it away again or even sell it?
It is hard to imagine what it really means to own more than 60,000 cards. The collection requires a secure place, proper insurance, and all of that involves a lot of effort and considerable costs.
If someone were to acquire the collection and perhaps even turn it into a museum, we would very much welcome that. What matters most to us is that the collection stays together.
I think this also shows that we are not looking to sell it quickly. We truly want it to end up in the right hands.
Additionally, there were questions about Kevin: we have known him for several years.
When we told him about the project, he was really hyped and found it amazing. Since heâs already a well-known face in Switzerland, and because we also wanted Swiss people to represent the project, it felt like a perfect fit for him to be part of it. And yes - weâre aware heâs quite attractive as well ![]()
Well that should clarify the main open points. If there are any further questions, feel free to reach out to us anytime via our Instagram account.
Either way, we are simply happy to finally be part of the official Pokémon community.
Welcome! Itâs a joy to see many of these cards and hopefully theyâll find a good home If you do wind up selling them ![]()
Welcome to the forum! And the collection is very impressive, congratulations and best of luck if you do sell.

I canât speak for anyone else, but I no longer use facebook, instagram, or twitter, and you didnât have an account here
Are there any cards you will find especially hard to part with from the collection? Anything you wish you could keep or plan to keep? Maybe a cool sentimental story attached?
Congratulations for the collection!!
I find it hard to believe that anyone could look at this collection and think it isnât a great oneâsimply because, from the little youâve shown, itâs one of the largest collections out there and includes some of the most important cards in the hobby. If anyone criticizes it, itâs only out of jealousy.
Do you have any favourite Pokémon? Does the collection have any black label? And any signed item?
Cheers
Thanks for sharing more of the personal inspiration for the collection and the decision-making that led you to share your familyâs work in this way. It is wonderful to hear about the sentimental side of the collection. Itâs also really cool insight to hear about the thought process large collections are being curated with. These are insights that generally remain untold and private forever.
