My source on the surfing pikachu is actually a German card database.

This same database also lists a German bday pikachu as having been printed, so I’ve added it to my list. You may want to as well. (:

Edit:
A contact I have in Germany tells me that pre-pop 6 there were no German pop holos printed. I believe him but let me know if you see any.

And someone told me the same thing about German pre-POP6 holos. Since two people are saying the same thing I believe it. I’m gonna remove them from my list.

Most worth mentioning I think is the fact it lists both POP5 cards as never having an Italian release, which is why you won’t find them on my site. Most of my other Italian information I’ve gotten from folks in the Italian Facebook groups I’m a part of.

I don’t know his real name. He’s basically a random guy I met on reddit here. He also didn’t really provided a source, just that he heard it in the past.

Thanks. Hmm, the Italian POP2 isn’t mentioned at all, the POP4, 6 and 9 are mentioned, but their respective pages are empty. And only on the POP5 they mention they weren’t released in Italian. Ah well, I got the POP9 now, POP6 is incoming and I contacted someone for POP4.

Hehe. You got that right. It’s the thrill of searching and collecting that I like so much. Collecting with a certain goal in mind. When I collected Pokémon Cards or Yu-Gi-Oh Cards in general it was different because I just bought what appealed to me, and sometimes a booster pack. Now I’m actively searching for cards and try to hear snips of information regarding Pikachu Cards I didn’t knew exist.

I’m a dummy and didn’t change a variable in the website programming when setting the set page information. Fixed now.

Xime was direct contact via email, but I don’t think she’s selling anymore. Check your PM’s.

I’ve also added to/changed my site further this morning. It now will include my Trophy/Medal cards, Champions Festival cards, and cards containing Pikachu. I am still working on getting them into their spreadsheet to populate the site, but trophy and festival are done for now as I don’t have very many of those. Thank you very much, @woolsluk . I’ve contacted ludkins collectibles, so hopefully they’ll get back to me. I currently have my first Art Academy Card incoming (Japanese Red Raincoat), but hope to get a few more (all 12 ). I’ve tried to contact a couple other Art Academy Pikachu winners through various means (Dress, Chef and Dancing), but no response so far…

It’s unfortunate I’m kinda late to the party regarding the Art Academy cards, since I started collecting Pikachu Cards seriously around March/April 2016, a few months after the winners received their cards.

Wow! I’m lost for words.

I started collecting Pikachu Cards about four months ago and currently have around 250 (with 50+ incoming), but before I saw your list I didn’t even knew which were all in existence, and how much there were in total. I know I won’t be able to have a collection like yours, for two reasons: 1. I’m as of yet not paying more than 25 USD for a single card (and the ones I did pay 15-25 USD for had to be very special / cool to me personally). And 2. It isn’t my main collection - this is (twisty puzzles).

Also, thanks for sharing that Excel. I was currently in the proces of making a checklist in Excel myself, but you saved me a lot of time. Hopefully I can ever help adding new card to the excel list that I find before you.

I tried to find a single Pikachu in my collection you didn’t had yet, which of course was futile… xD I did see two Ditto Pikachu cards you were missing though, although I’m sure you’re aware of it or haven’t updated your site yet (English XY40 & Japanese 077/XY-P).

Keep up the great collection!

I have two comments, and they actually conflict a bit.

1. I don’t have an inherent need to collect this card based on my goal as it is not an actual Pikachu TCG card being released

2. As a Pikachu collector with a particular affection for the Base Set Pikachu, I do still really want this

I think in the future I may try to obtain a copy but there is no way I can feasibly make it happen right now with the fact that I’m looking to move in about a year. I just don’t have the disposable income. Sucks really, but it is what it is.

I was talking with @funmonkey54 about this earlier in the week, the unfortunate reality for an international Pikachu collector like myself and @quuador is that even a $20 release for a card becomes a $120 card due to multi-language releases, and it really starts to rack up. Tough to keep up with both locating everything and finances too.
