Couldn’t have said it better myself. I currently try to get all Base Set misprint variants I can find. I’ve completed all well-known variants, but am on the lookout for miscuts, square cuts, crimped, albino bordered, etc. etc. I would love to get this card, but since I don’t have a car nor apartment yet I just can’t justify spending 2K on a Pokémon Card, even if it’s made of pure gold.
Don’t get me wrong, apart from my collections I spend almost no money at all and have quite a few k’s on my savings account. But well, lately I’ve already put some savings money on my regular bank account in order to buy some cards, and a 2K card is just out of the question for me.
I thought about buying it as an investment piece, since gold itself is still raising in value, but I know that I won’t ever sell it if I get it in my possession xD

I’ve added a few new things to the website (such as an updated sale section) and have done a lot of work on getting a non-mobile site set up. It’s well under way, but still has a bit to go so I don’t have much to share yet aside from maybe a little homepage teaser…
Collection information update:
Can’t wait for those on order cards to arrive. Approximately 30 of them will arrive in one shipment from a contact I’ve got in Europe helping me out with orders that don’t ship to the US.
