Yeah, so there are 2 versions of 218/XY-P. The normal World Hobby Fair version, and the TV Tokyo Lottery one (which there are only 100 copies.)

218/XY-P TV Tokyo Lottery Ash-Greninja EX - Price is really whatever, only 100 copies exist. I have seen a 10 listed for $40k, and AUTH copy sold on PWCC a few weeks back at $2400.

290/XY-P Ash-Greninja EX - CD Release promo, a 10 goes for about 1800-2200 I think, raw is 700-900.

Charizard Mega Battle Greninja unnumbered XY-P - My personal favorite Greninja art, cost is about $300+ raw, and a 10 is around 1k-1600 I believe. I have this one so I haven’t really looked at prices in a while.

218/XY-P World Hobby Fair Ash-Greninja EX - Lowest rarity of the Ash-Greninja EX. Prices seem to have come down a bit to around 175-230ish for a 10. Used to be more like 300-400 for a while.
After that it gets tricky. There are some expensive graded cards because the pops are so low. I personally know of a pair of the Unlimited XY9 10s (holo and BREAK card) selling for $1000, so that would be $500 each. But both of those are pop 4/6 respectively and I know for a fact 1 of the holos are mislabeled so its really pop 3. There are also other really hard to grade cards like the Breakpoint Pokemon League stamped Greninja cards, where only the 2nd place card has 1 10 graded (I own this one).
Off the top of my head, I think another really expensive one if the Illustration Contest SWSH305 Greninja PSA 10. Only pop 8 for a 10 out of 320 graded. I know the most recent sale of that was something crazy like $1600.

Someone over here has been trying to auction a PSA 10 Ash-Greninja B CD XY promo for a few weeks with no bites at 7000rmb ($1k) starting price. Not sure if that’s just indicative of interest in China for Greninja cards but thought I’d share the info.

Prices have been falling on that for a while, so that’s not really surprising. The card used to be like $150-200 raw and then just suddenly spiked to 800+, with graded copies going along for the ride. Fingers crossed it falls more and I might actually be able to pick a 10 up. For now, with these crazy prices, I am happy with my 6 I got for $31.

Do you have plans of saving up for tokyo lottery one low graded/authentic one or would that feel disappointing when it’s not mint graded? I would think 2400$ price range would be doable after all given time

Not really, no. That $2400 was just for that one copy, and I tapped out bidding on that one at $1800. Just couldn’t square away dropping that kind of money when I have other more important things to use it on with my family. Other ones I have seen are more in the $8-10k range, so I’ve come to terms with it being unattainable for me. I have every other one though.
I’m on a pretty limited budget, about 70% of my collection I have graded myself to avoid paying too much for things. While this has worked in my favor for a lot of stuff, the higher end stuff is just out of reach. I only have the Charizard Mega Battle one in a 10 bc I bought a CGC 8 for $60 and it SOMEHOW graded a 10 when I cracked it…

Ungraded to a 10 for this one! Only pop 9, and this is the 1st time I have seen a 10 show up since I started my collection. I have gone through probably 20-30 raw copies trying to get one good enough to grade, so I am happy to not have to do that anymore.

Honestly, probably not. I don’t see how it won’t go for well over $10k and I just don’t have that kind of budget. I’m interested in where it will end.
