Japanese No Rarity Price Discussion

Pokemon Party?
At least we’d have a strong defense lol.

I can’t recall any push by the current administration to increase customs duties or enforcement thereof. Generally increasing taxes on the middle class isn’t in the liberal agenda, or the conservative agenda for that matter.

That being said, y’all should try out Canada’s $20 customs threshold ($40 for gifts) and $9.95 processing fee for any item that can be charged customs duties. Not to mention the 15% tax rate. Vive le nord.

Conservative leadership thankfully has always stepped in but if we got either the incompetent, power seeking liar Hillary or the clueless loudmouth sanders in office all bets are off. They will dig up every single possible source including customs fees to fine or tax in order to pay for theirs, and the jackass B o bamas failures.

Yeah four star that is horrible. I think the UK has a really low threshold as well.

I will kill all conservatives. The coal will still be burnt, the roofs will set fire. We will all die if the republicans have there way.
And if Our honorable president elected … Good lord your all finished… The thing 1 party is already fascist enough as It is… This guy man, has made politics even more stupid than its ever been in history. I weep for humanity.
There is crouds of people who believe what he says… They clap, I can’t understand it.
The thing is to have a just party may never be possible, everything seems to have a price… People will always be owned… But we must rise up as the pokemon party and not be bought out by dicks and start a revolution and the things.

Must… resist… political… debate…

How about them no-rarities?

I wonder what’s going to happen since that Gyarados went for 345usd. I mean it will probably tank and even out things a bit for the next auction war I engage in…
Hitmonchan went for 250usd or something so that’s pretty dam low. Thinking back to pok pHD who won the mewtwo for 1200usd it is crazy. I had my bid ready on Gyarados for 800, but that shit didn’t happen. So even though I pages heaps for the venusaur it kind of evened out in my head. I would still pay poke PhD what he payed for the mewtwo in the future if his willing to part with it, but I don’t think he would being a very similar Japanese collector to me and stuff.

Sorry about getting off topic there lol.

I’m a little pissed at Hillary tonight cause she spoke at our complexes Sun City Anthem center and caused a traffic jam so I hope I didn’t offend anybody;)

Hillary will burn for her crimes against freedom of speach and humanity. So will the thing 1 party because you see they don’t stand for anything the founders of the thing 1 stood for, and Ronald destroyed everything and started the age of death destruction chaos and mayhem. I’m sure you havnt offended anyone, but these are touchy subjects I have bought up a few times and I’m sure as mature dudes we respect each others opinions, so it should be cool. That being said it looks like my tracking information has updated and it says Melbourne… Which means it might get past customs, but who knows because that’s when it dissapeared when my charizard went to customs…
Melbourne is basically 2 hours away from my house. So I should know tomorrow… However I’m a bit iffy because it says process through sort facility at 7.59 and that can only mean this morning, and you think it would be in the next town by now, unless they only update it once a day or something… Creepy shit, because you see it’s not the money that bothers me the most, its the customs declaration thing that took like a week, and it drove me insane because you have to do a bunch of crazy annoying shit. Plus they ship my card back up to Sydney, and I don’t want them handling those cards lol.
I am wondering if you guys in Canada or us/UK have to go through a process or do you just walk straight into the post office and pay them there with no wait?

@pokemonsyndicate the postman brings it to your door/mailbox in the US. There are no customs fees to pay. (At least I have never paid any for receiving international, nor have I heard of fees being paid for receiving international packages)

Yeah blastoise rules just told me you guys don’t pay customs in us for collectables and stuff.

Gotcha. Sorry for the redundancy then.

Nah its cool, he just got back to me know xD … Ummm but yeah I would like to know how the process goes in UK and Canada, and if they have a long thingy majiggy before they get there shit back.

In the UK if an item is valued over £15 their will be a 20% customs alongside a £13.50 fee from parcelforce for their service which is bullshit. It can take anywhere from a day to 2 weeks from one of my experiences for a package to be assigned a custom amount. After which it goes to your local hub and you pay the amount so they can deliver the parcel but as my hub is 20 min away I usually drive their pay and pick it up in person.

Wow that is crazy customs fees! So do you know if they convert currency to match this GBP limit i.e. if something is declared at $30AUD? (pretty close to £15 depending on the day)

I see. Sounds like a bit less of a run around in terms of forms and finding tarrif numbers and shit… But that low threshold is insane and similar to Canada.

I personally just get my packages marked as $20 as thats always around £12-13 you dont want tofind the exact conversion of £15 as if it turns out to be slightly over on the day it arrives you get the 20% plus £13.50 charge.

The piss take is the forms you have to filland documents you have to send to HMRC (Custom Department of the UK) to get the fees back if they were charged wrongly for example were not supposed to be charged on PSA returns but 90% of the times Iamdue to the postal workers not reading the custom sheet. After sending the paperwork you have to wait atleast 3 months for a reply if they will refund you the 20% but you dont get the £13.50 back though.
